Monty
2000-2026
Monty was the heart and soul of the farm. For more than 20 years, he stood faithfully beside our founder as a steadfast mount, a trusted friend to lean on, and a constant presence through countless seasons of life. Those who knew him will remember his gentle nature, unmistakable personality, and, of course, his signature “tongue out” expressions that never failed to make us smile. As the last of the farm’s original herd, Monty carried with him more than two decades of memories, history, and change. His absence is deeply felt in the barn, in the pastures, and by all who were fortunate enough to know and love him. Some horses are part of the herd; Monty became part of the story of this farm, and he will forever remain part of ours.

Easy
Easy Jett Cowboy
Easy was our founder’s first horse, brought from Colorado as a riding horse who would go on to shape everything that followed. A former cow pony, he carried himself with quiet strength until ringbone led to his retirement, and from that moment on, the farm was built around giving him the comfort and care he deserved. Easy had a gentle, grounding presence that drew all creatures to him, often found with birds and cats resting peacefully on his back.
